I underestimated this one majorly. Most modern brands nowadays are very slick and Tincup is no different with an elegant and practical bottle followed by slick presentation. Even though its not my favorite flavor profile I will be repurchasing.

Instead the company just goes with the style name of American Whiskey All of this is surprising actually. A spicy robust flavor that is evened out with the smooth foundation of a bourbon. Not all whiskey needs to be cask strength to be enjoyable but this is truly a case where 6.

The flavors are good its not too strong and its not one of those drinks that experts gush over but a common man doesnt understand. The nose is subtle and light the palate is sweet with hints of spice and the finish mimics all of these characteristics. Time for a bourbon with the distinctive Tincup brand owned by marketing firm Proximo who also handle familiar names such as Jose Cuervo and Kraken Rum. The whiskey is not a spicy whiskey and remains smooth and light with the caramel flavoring it.
